Re: Open Thread (2.00 / 2)

It is, but trying to get McCain elected is not.

You just ruined zerosum's next diary, "Knitting for McCain"

Huh, Damn I love our party.

Knitting for Obama seems really damn cool.

Zerogame frantically knitting a McCain kneeling rug is still hilarious.

Pelosi (2.00 / 1)

It's time for Obama to keep her off television for the remainder of the year.  She was doing an interview with Greta Van Susteran tonight and performed horribly.  She is one of the worst surrogates for Obama.

It seem as if FoxNews has made it a goal to find the worst possible advocates for Obama and put them on television.

Why can't our party leaders stay off Faux? (2.00 / 2)

It's becoming an... unpleasant pattern.

Re: Why can't our party leaders stay off Faux? (2.00 / 1)

Pelosi is starting to seem too obsessed with Clinton.  I think these two need to have a talk.

Seniority wise and activist approved, who is her next logical replacement?

New wiretapping idea (2.00 / 1)

Maybe Bush can wiretap the sewage lines coming out of our houses -- apparently we have the technology:

http://www.latimes.com/news/science/la-m e-sewer23-2008jun23,0,159787.story

To find out what you've been drinking, legal and illegal drugs, etc. Maybe they can evaluate us for national security risk this way. As long as they brief the Senate ahead of time...

Re: Open Thread (2.00 / 1)

This place has really become a trainwreck over the past few days, worse maybe than the primaries, even.  Is there some cycle of the moon that's occurring right now?  Are the planets aligned?

I was wondering about that. (2.00 / 1)

Things seemed better for awhile, but recently, there's been a lot of hostility. I don't understand exactly why the trolls have redoubled their efforts lately. And half of them are so concerned. Annoying. Give me a bit of good ol' fashioned blatant trolling any day -- the concern crap is just tiresome; at least the blatant trolls are occasionally entertaining.

Re: I was wondering about that. (2.00 / 1)

I know.  I'd rather have the good ol' fashioned trollishness of a Michael Begala or a Dogking than what's happened the last few days.

Polls are looking good for Obama maybe?  Hoping to get in their last hits before the Clinton and Obama unification? (it was announced a few days) ago)

Re: Open Thread (2.00 / 1)

Holy crap.  I just finished watching The Daily Show, and they had Larry King sitting at a drumset beating a drum with Tommy Lee holding his arms as their Moment of Zen.  Good Lord, that was the funniest image I've ever seen!

I need to find some youtube video of that moment, stat!
